2024 AAP Annual Conference Giveaway Terms and Conditions:

(API credits to be awarded to three winners who attend the 2024 AAP Annual Conference: $25k, $15k, $10k respectively.)


The contest is open to all attendees of the 2024 AAP Annual Conference, except for current staff, board members, and immediate family members thereof, associated with American Associated Pharmacies or API Warehouse. Pharmacies operating under the AAP membership of any member of the Board of Directors for either AAP or API are also ineligible. Winner must serve in a professional capacity associated with a licensed and operational independent pharmacy.

Participants must be of legal age, as defined within the United States and within the participant’s local jurisdiction.

Entry Method:

To enter the contest, attendees must visit a vendor/exhibitor booth at the 2024 AAP Annual Conference or attend eligible conference sessions during the event. A list of eligible sessions will be published on March 8, 2024.

Each eligible attendee will receive one entry for each vendor/exhibitor booth visited and for each eligible conference session attended.

Attendees must present their conference badge to be scanned for each entry.

Early Bird Registration Bonus Entries:

Attendees who register during the Early Bird Registration period (through November 30, 2023) will receive double the number of entries they generate from qualified conference activities.


Three prizes will be awarded in the form of credits issued by API.

First Prize = $25,000 in non-controlled generic prescription medication (GRx); Second Prize = $15,000 in non-controlled GRx; Third Prize = $10k in non-controlled GRx.

Credits will be issued by the 15th of the following month on purchases of qualified non-controlled GRx from API.

Credits will be issued retroactively until the full prize amount has been awarded.

Credits expires on December 31, 2024, and any unused credit amount remaining after the expiration date will be forfeited.

The credit is non-transferable and holds no cash value if not redeemed.

The credit cannot be combined with any other marketing or promotional offers from API.

Order Types:

Contest-associated credits may be applied to all order types, including but not limited to EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), SmartSync, Scan & Toss, etc.

Winner Selection:

Winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries generated from activities at the 2024 AAP Annual Conference. Drawing will take place during the 2024 AAP Annual Conference on Saturday, April 6, 2024.

Winners who have an ownership stake in more than one pharmacy must designate, in writing, which store(s) the credit will apply to. This designation must be submitted no later than two weeks prior to the date of the first qualified order placed with API. Once the credit is applied to a designated store, it cannot be transferred or reallocated to another store.


Winners will be notified via the contact information provided during registration.

If a winner cannot be reached or fails to claim the prize within 14 days of notification, an alternate winner may be selected.

General Terms:

Participants agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations during the contest period.

The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

By participating in the contest, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Winners are solely responsible for all tax implications arising from the receipt of the prize. This includes, but is not limited to, federal, state, or local taxes that may be applicable to the credit awarded.

If there is a past-due amount associated with a winner’s API account, prize credit will be applied first to outstanding balance before any new orders.

Standard rebates apply to products purchased with prize credit.


By participating in the contest, winners agree to allow AAP and API to use their names and likenesses for promotional purposes without additional compensation.


AAP and API reserve the right to cancel or rescind this offer at any time without prior notice.


Personal information collected during the contest will be used only for the purposes of administering the contest and awarding prizes.

Neither AAP nor API are responsible for any technical issues, errors, or omissions that may affect the contest’s fairness or integrity.

Neither AAP nor API are liable for any damages, losses, or injuries resulting from participation in the contest or acceptance of the prizes.
